In India we never promote violence in any manner…One never kills even an ant with out reason…and you are deciding to kill female feotus. This thing is nothing but a sin…and you should not do it.
Why we are loosing our morals?
Due to belief of old traditions…In intention to have family tree intact…You are terminating a female baby before her birth is the thing unexplainable by any angle.
Why we people are forgetting our manners?
One can have a dialog in decent but with direct intentions…This is what one of active member does…and also advises to do.

People who are religious and do not believe in unnecessary termination of foetus…ever thinks to select sex of foetus…male or female. They rather accept what may be the newborn…male or female.

Contrary to this people of some other religion smartly do not think on issue…Do not take the act of killing female foetus as sin…Do not think what God must be thinking on their inhuman termination of pregnancy of unwanted female feotus.

Is it really so serious to keep on talking on likely future crisis if the ‘Mission save the Girl’ not implemented effectively?
Forget the likely social crisis in future… Today we are already in social crisis. Don’t we agree that?
Talking on the current issue of female feticides…What the society is doing is nothing but mass murder like thing…majority of minds are killing the unborn female girls in utero.
So need is to prevent and stop this crime on an emergency basis with our thinking what will happen in future.

So Mission save the Girl should be today’s mission for Today and not for future.
Ten years back a female patient visited clinic. She had two female children and pregnant for third time…And relatives were keen to have male child this time.
This time couple had no option except for selection of sex of new coming fetus…She gone to her native city place and what was happened was not known.
After few years when she visited the clinic she was with a Boy child.
This was the experience of our Doctor friend.
There must be few more such type of cases in past.
डॉक्टर, सासु फार त्रास देते...सारख टोचून बोलते...आता मुलगाच वाहला हवा...नहीं तर नवरा घराबाहेर काढेल...मुलगा झाला नाही तर माझे काही खरं नाही...

Now the story is different…Now days few couple are choosing such options even after first female child as they are ashamed of having family of more than two kids.
Demand for prenatal sex detection is increased remarkably…And demand for termination of female fetus has increased ultimately…No one can deny this fact.
Such needy people approaches Doctor and…Blackmails the Doctor emotionally.
They are often ready to pay a good amount for this criminal offense.

These all things are harassing an honest Doctor…But these people have no option…No choice.

In Male dominant society today females have lost their importance. This is being proved by mentality of society as ratio of female sex kids is decreasing remarkably.

We are sorry to say that people believing in God…doing all holy activity are having strong old traditional minded (moralistic)with exception to few…So it is needed that these people should get periodic counseling.
Worshiping God and Godly behavior are two different things…so activities during such procession is really appreciable.

Not by disease or illness…but female fetuses are at risk in India
Since last 15/16 years the misuse of Sonography is being practiced by few Doctors in India…and the new entity of Female feticides has been slowly entered in health issues in India.
Health organizations does active programming for prevention and eradication of endemic diseases…but this Female Feticide which has been converted into a condition like a mental illness and really challenging to prevent or cure.
Unfortunately widely used methods of termination of early pregnancy for purpose of spacing the next issue by abortion pills or by surgical methods of terminations are well accepted by Indian society.
So mind set here is one can terminate unwanted pregnancy by easy and legal ways.
And when the birth of boy becomes the need of family the pregnancy with female fetus becomes an unwanted pregnancy and parents goes to select and choose male fetus or terminate female fetus.
In society which has strong belief in family tree वंशाचा दिवा…it is the challenging to Save Girl.
Activation of Mission save the Girl can only prevent female feticides in India.
Since till the age of 20 weeks the fetus is not a viable…So terminating or in clear words killing such fetus is routine method even also for spacing the birth of second child is concerned. The main problem here is the termination of pregnancy till 20th weeks on the ground of medical and specified reasons in India is called as legal termination of pregnancy (MTP) So for Qualified Medical Professional person also it has become easy to terminate the pregnancy of fetus demanded by parents by their request and by their consent with out keeping any record of it. The medical professional person do not even think as far as ethics or legal factor is concerned…rather he has mentality is as if by favoring the needy couple he has served his profession…and he feels proud for his job…no question of any guilty feelings. And exceptionally few may be doing such inhumane act just for money but there he may not be a qualified Doctor. In short one may draw a simple but false conclusion that the people from medical field are indirectly and innocently involved in such activity and rather main culprit is the mentality of society as such.
There are many people in society who do not accept this cruel way of killing targeted female fetuses but it is very sad that they do not want to comment on this issue.
These silent observers know that this mentality of society is taking India towards a major social disaster.
These silent observers are aware of their friends and relatives urging for prenatal sex determination but they do not have courage to prevent them from doing this inhumane things.
There are so many such silent observers who know the persons participating or involving or in real sense doing this crime of prenatal sex determination followed by illegal termination of pregnancy…but these Silent Observers are keeping mum.
In older post we have posted an oath called as self talk…Such activity may help Silent observers to speak out their inner feeling…a day or another…but soon.
Except very few…Persons from Social organizations or Health related organizations are not serious on Mission Save a Girl in India
Many of such persons are just highlighting the fact and need of prevention of prenatal sex determination followed by illegal termination of targeted female infants…but sad part is nobody is coming with effective practical approach and the concrete solution.
It is not that these great persons are trying to minimize the illegal activity of female infanticides but no one is serious on issue…As apart from prenatal sex determination act (PNDT)…Social awareness campaign is not on their radar yet.
Until and unless the issue of saving girl is included in all social activity…just highlight of issue will not be sufficient.
In country like India where there are so many problems and issues which are neglected…very soon or later this issue of decreasing female sex ration will also be in corner of drawer behind the dust.
Since there in nothing like Mission save a girl in India till the date…need is to start such activity…but nobody is serious.
The Health related persons talking loudly on malnutrition in children are silent on this major issue of female feticides.
हम दो हमारे दो...The campaign of family planning program is successful due to mass campaign only…and majority of family have accepted two kids and also one kid family norm.
But along with it thought of two daughters or one daughter norm of family is beyond the mentality of society…rather they want first child as boy and then second as girl or boy.
Contrary if first child is girl then second child has to be boy…no girl at any cost…as they have adapted two child family norms…they can not take for third chance.
So by hook or crook after first female kid…second child has to be born should be boy only…so there is no choice apart from knowing the sex of infant and terminating infant if it is of female sex.
So unknowingly हम दो हमारे दो (Two Kids Family) has crated this cruelty of killing female infants…
Till the mentality of Family of one or two kids irrespective of boy or girl child will be well adapted by society…Mission Save the Girl will have to be continued.
When it comes to discussion on this issue…after discussion on mentality of society…vanshacha diva…(वंशाचा दिवा...) male dominance…female innocence…finally the finger is pointed out towards medical profession…Doctors doing prenatal diagnosis followed by termination of female fetus.
So to save nobility of our profession…Doctor should lead this Mission
But unfortunately Doctors are very reluctant on issue and not even acting as backstage also…keeping mum with out any comments.
This is very sad part of this Mission.
If Doctors not reacted in positive way in short time they may be treated as main culprit for decrease in female sex ratio.
So it is our sincere request to all persons in medical profession…Please come forward and leads the Mission.
Without wasting time on theoretical discussion on the topic, we should all have to look for effective practical approach... To Save the Girl
During any activity related to Doctors or any health related program conducted for any age group of people in general…organizers should include activity of Mission Save a Girl…
Activity like...
1. Start with simple oath in local language…one simple format is given below
2. Then ask decided experienced person to give short talk on the importance of Mission Save a Girl.
3. With appeal to all to join Mission…this activity should be concluded in five minutes only.
4. Timing of this activity should be decided smartly so as to give effective impact.
5. Such activity ideally should not be as the last part of session except in the program related to same issue…or it may look like patch up typed…unrelated topic…and people are anxious to leave may not take the issue seriously.
We need more and more trial and error before coming to finalize the standard format…but why not to start just now as a trial.
We do many activities in such programs just for formalities irrespective of its meaning and importance…why not to include activity which is in real sense important.
People in general and all other non government organizations will also start similar activities followed by involvement of Government.
We should not wait till Government authority do it obligatory to do certain activity and then we are supposed to do as compulsion.
Media though taking concern of this issue will become more serious on the issue…and bombarding the message of this mission…through media will be the most effective weapon of this mission.
To summarize the campaign should be like dealing with crisis…as we all accept that girls if not saved now will be resulting into major social crisis very soon.
Each and every individual…irrespective of age, educational standard or social status must be given this type of health periodically. Such oath should become like self talk like activity for majority of people…then only Mission Save the Girl…will be effective remarkably.

I do respect the birth and presence of female.
I will not involve directly or indirectly in the act of female infanticide.
And I also prevent my relatives and friends from doing female infanticide.
I take such oath.

Mission is difficult…There are Two Missions…Try to dig out different options and Find some…Some of the Practical Ways…Need is to try all tactics of Missions…And Lead with example.
It includes two Missions
Mission against female infanticide
Mission in favor to save a girl child.
So Mission against female infanticide is a challenge…Mission in favor to save the girl child is not easy…
Two Missions
No need to get confused as I have mentioned a single Mission under two different headings…
I have made it purposely aiming to work under that particular mission.
In first Mission against female infanticides the main task is:
1.to make people aware regarding punishment and laws
2.to make relatives aware regarding punishment and laws
3.to make doctors aware regarding punishment and laws.
In second Mission favoring the girl child the main task is:
1.to motivate the teenager students in campaign by explaining the real fact and likely disaster due to decreasing sex ratio…if not stopped or controlled.
2.to do brain wash of people in general…means all sort of people…educated…uneducated…poor…and rich…all…on the need of nature…or ready to face a big unethical sex issue.
My Observation:
I may be wrong but let me at least talk on my general observation.
My general observation is NGOs are mainly working on first mission that is mission against female infanticides.
Its okay but First mission if not supported by another second mission…simultaneously…the impact will not be easy to digest to society…may lead to some other consequences…
Try to dig out different options:
We are on right track…its okay…but not enough…
It is appeal to all who are in mission to dig out practical and meaningful descent to fight against the satiation aiming to win it as early as possible…
Need is to try all tactics of Missions.
Once we label it as a mission …why not to try all tactics of mission…like
1. be a part of them and then change their psychology…
2. listen to them and then by your skill wash their brains…
3. do not miss a single chance to motive people in general...but by decent way…
4. get them aware of law…but stress should be on the natures need.
5. get entry into their mind and heart and make them to follow you…
6. try the tactic of divide and rule in some cases…but be couscous…it needs experience and different skill...
Some of the Practical Ways:
Let me suggest some practical ways which small non government organization with the help of government health authority can do:
1. Counseling of a mother and father having second female child.
2. Volunteers of particular small NGOs with the help of health authority make a friendship with the newly married family by various means and to explain the mission…
3. Small organization can periodically organize small group discussion type activities with the help of experts so as to involve young population in mission.
4. Government authority is already started keeping tract record of obstetric history…which is one of the effective ways.
5.Welcome the third female child…it’s okay…the one and only female kid’s family is appreciable…but as far as old traditional minded people…why not congratulate on their third female child…you may soon hear the news that the mother has undergone sterilization operation and is happy….
In country like India who has history of killing... rather burning females at the time of funeral of their husband...the fact of female infoenticides is not a surprise. In country like India in which females are humilated and pressurised to sucide for dowery even after few years of marriage...the mission to save the girl child is challenging one.
As all are aware of latest big issue of concerned is decreasing sex ratio in India…
Population explosion is no more explosion but still it is the issue of concern even today.
Regarding reducing rate of population to control the birthrate is the main important step…and I think in India…that step is working in a effective way.
People in general are aware of the fact and two kids family norm is well accepted by society as such.
In old days when there was no social awareness on ill effects of population and couple use to have 5 / 6 or even more children…the though of female infanticide was not even though by anybody…many had a girl child after 3/4/5 male child…and that girl was treated as the most prestigious child in joint family.
the norm of three kids family was giving three chance for a couple to have a at least one male child.
But norm of two kids family has reduced a chance of having male child by 33%.
And if first child is female…then the couple has only one chance to have a male child…and they are eager to have male child.
It’s very unfair to them to take a chance with playing it blind.
They wants to see their cards…to confirm the sex of upcoming child…
And then the real unethical ways starts like sex determination and fetal infanticides…
Modern science has shown them a way by means of Ultrasound…
In short this modern way or Norm of family has provoking them for fetal infanticides…
